Landing your dream job is great, but what comes after five or ten years? When starting at a new company, it’s important for employees to know they have a path to growth even if their interests change over time. At Bayview, employees can expect three key elements that will help their career development throughout the years.
1. Opportunities, Opportunities, Opportunities Bayview employees can take advantage of countless opportunities once they join our team. When first hired, we believe the person is the right fit for the role we are looking to fill. But over time the employee might discover their interests and skills may be put to better use in a different position. With so many different business lines, there are numerous opportunities for employees to expand their knowledge and move to new areas.
2. Training Programs In the summer of 2019, Bayview launched PURView, a residential origination training program to demonstrate our commitment to recognizing our employees’ capabilities and providing the industry knowledge necessary to be successful in a new role. So far, over 90 employees have successfully gone through this training program and are now part of our growing residential originations business.
3. You Always Come First We recognize that every individual is unique with evolving talents, and we strive to match every person’s responsibilities with their skill set. The firm makes every effort to create a supportive and encouraging environment for those employees seeking new challenges. Over the past year, hundreds of employees have transitioned to different jobs, departments and even companies (within the Bayview family). If you join one of our teams, you’ll quickly learn that our greatest asset is our people. Keeping employees engaged, challenged, and putting their talents to the best use is very important and a core responsibility of the firm.
